After working over two decades at large, multinational firms, Jim D’Aquila founded The Mercanti Group in 2001 because he recognized a need for customized financial solutions and the need to treat each client as an individual. A void of talented and experienced investment bankers had been created for small and middle market companies due to consolidation of the investment banking industry.

While our headquarters are in Minneapolis, Mercanti has an expansive footprint with offices in Los Angeles and New York to better serve our clients. We recently formed an affiliate relationship in Mainland China to assist us with cross-border deals in Asia.
